Social Media
A social presence that looks like the business you run
Your best content is already on your phone. The finished driveway, the panel before and after, the studio at 6am before class. What's missing isn't creativity — it's a system for capturing that work and getting it posted on a schedule that doesn't depend on you having a free evening.
We won't invent a personality for your business or chase trends that don't fit. Content is built from your jobs, your team, and your customers, and we say no to posting for the sake of posting.
Why this matters
Social is where people check whether you're still in business
Most local customers don't follow your page hoping to be entertained. They land on it once, on the way to a decision, and they're looking for two things: recent activity and proof of work. A profile whose last post is from fourteen months ago reads as closed. A profile with a dozen finished jobs from this quarter reads as busy, and busy reads as trustworthy.
That's why cadence beats production value here. A slightly imperfect photo of a completed driveway posted every week does more for a local business than one beautifully produced video every quarter. The feed functions as a rolling portfolio and an availability signal at the same time, and both of those work on strangers who will never hit follow.
The reason it doesn't happen isn't creativity — it's the handoff. The photos are on your phone, the captions never get written, and the week disappears. Fixing that is a systems problem: a shot list so you know what to capture, a shared folder so it leaves your camera roll, repeatable content themes so nothing starts from blank, and a queue so posting doesn't depend on you having a free evening.
What's at stake
Silence looks like closed
An abandoned profile actively costs you jobs. It's often the last thing someone sees before deciding not to call.
Proof beats promises
Before-and-afters and finished work convince people faster than any tagline you could write.
Reviews and referrals live here
Local recommendation threads are won by businesses whose name and work people already recognize.
Consistency compounds
Three posts a week for six months builds a body of evidence. Ten posts in one week and then nothing builds nothing.
Who this is for
- Owners with great work and empty or inconsistent profiles
- Businesses where customers check Instagram or Facebook before calling
- Teams that post in bursts and then go quiet for two months
- Local businesses that want reviews and referrals, not follower counts
When we'd tell you no
If your goal is viral reach or influencer campaigns, we're not the right shop. Our focus is steady local visibility that supports the phone ringing.

Why First Mile Studio
Why owners hand us this part of the business
We're a small Tampa shop. That shapes how we work more than any list of features could.
- 01
Content comes from your real work
We don't fabricate a brand voice or chase sounds that have nothing to do with your trade. Jobs, team, process, and customer questions carry the feed — and that's what local buyers respond to anyway.
- 02
We build the capture system, not just the posts
A shot list for every job or class, a shared upload folder, and templates you can fill from a phone in two minutes. The raw material keeps coming after we've handed off.
- 03
Two platforms done well
We'd rather run Facebook and Instagram properly than half-run five. For B2B and industrial clients that usually means LinkedIn instead of Instagram, and we'll say which fits you.
- 04
Real leads get routed to you fast
We answer general comments and DMs, but anything about pricing, scheduling, or a specific job goes straight to you. Nobody with money in hand waits on an agency.
- 05
Reporting on things that matter locally
Profile taps, direction requests, saves, and link clicks — the actions that precede a phone call. Follower count is the last number we talk about.

Questions owners ask
Profile setup is included in First Step. Strategy and ongoing management are part of Forward Momentum and Growth Partner.
Do I have to be on camera?
No. Plenty of accounts run entirely on job photos, before-and-afters, and text posts. If you're comfortable on camera we'll use it, because it does perform well.
Which platforms should I be on?
Usually two at most. Facebook and Instagram for local consumer services; LinkedIn instead of Instagram for B2B and industrial work. Two done well beats five neglected.
How often will you post?
Three to five posts a week for most local businesses, plus stories. We'd rather hold a steady cadence than dump ten posts and disappear.
Who replies to comments and messages?
We handle general questions and route anything about pricing, scheduling, or a specific job straight to you, so real leads never wait on us.
Where do photos come from?
You. We give you a shot list and a shared upload folder, and we handle cropping, editing, and captions from there.
